This chapter introduces the partners and the research themes of the Falcon project and describes the structure of the book, which presents the results of the Falcon project. Vanderlande Industries is the project’s carrying industrial partner, which means that their automated warehouse development is used as the basis for the project. The project focuses on the development of professional systems using a model-driven approach. To support the warehouse designer in his effort, Vanderlande Industries and the Embedded Systems Institute started the Falcon project in October 2006. The increased automation level results in a large warehouse complexity and a correspondingly large warehouse design effort. I didn’t take the SR Boot Camp though.Due to the increasing scarcity of human operators and the fast development of technology, there is a trend towards higher levels of automation in warehouses. And they pay much better than being just a Reviewer. So that’s why it is important to take the Boot Camp training!Īlso, there is a BootCamp for Reviewers who want to become Super-Reviewers. Take note that when you take the Boot Camp, you will be automatically a Reviewer (depending on the types of Lidar you passed, example: Reviewer for Swan, Reviewer for Turtle, Reviewer for Panda, Reviewer for Mammoth, etc.) (But the Boot Camp only focuses on Lidar Training.) This workflow also apply to Classic Tasks. Tasker will do the available Lidar Task->Reviewer will review Tasker’s job->Super Reviewer will review Reviewer’s job. And let’s face it, R and SR tasks pay well! If you’re just an ordinary Tasker, you won’t see those works available for R and SR and Lidar tasks for Tasker simply quick to run out. When you visit your own Remotasks dashboard, there are actually more works for reviewers (R) and Super-Reviewers (SR). This article was also featured on TripZilla Philippines. If you don’t know my story yet, feel free to read this article where I talked about how I quit my job in order to travel. Hi there! First of all, I am Daniel – a solo backpacker from the Philippines. Read also: my blog on how I earn money from transcription works at GoTranscript. So in this Remotasks review blog, I’m going to share with you everything I know about Remotasks as well as my personal experience on how I started until finishing the in-house training. It was a good opportunity for me to even dig deeper and to know more about Remotasks. I was lucky enough to be part of a 10-day Boot Camp training held in Quezon City, Philippines. So if you happen to be in the Philippines, consider joining now! They call this training Remotasks Boot Camp and it happens biweekly within the major cities across the country, batch by batch. The best thing about Remotasks is it offers FREE training in the Philippines. It was June 2019 when I sign up for Remotasks after hearing good reviews about it. I was in a constant lookout for any home-based job I can find after quitting my 9-to-5 day job in the pursuit of long-term travel.
